Students become confused because in their calendar the meeting shows 2 ways to enter. One is the link to the Zoom meeting and the other is in the upper right hand corner that says "Join". Clicking "Join" opens a Team meeting, but I want them to go to the Zoom meeting.

Is there any way to schedule a Zoom meeting that will appear in their calendar, without prompting a Team meeting at the same time? I'm aware I can eventually "train" them to always choose the Zoom link, but being able to schedule an "event" that isn't a Team video call would be neater.

You can edit the Zoom meeting in Outlook using the same contacts as teams etc and it will sync with Teams without adding a Team meeting link.
